Been attending an art school to polish on my fundamentals and do some realism. This shall be my first step in my seriously long-as-hell journey towards becoming a full-fledged illustrator who's worthy to have my own booth in an anime con.

However, I would suggest trying to do both realistic and your old style of art. I still think both could help you out.
